Water Line Replacement Moves to Next Phase, Lane Closures Expected

City utilities crews are beginning the next phase of a water line replacement program, work that will bring intermittent lane closures to several streets.

Crews plan to work in segments to limit the length of any single closure. Residents in affected blocks may see short service interruptions, which the city said it will notify households about in advance.

The program replaces aging mains that have been the source of repeated repair calls.
